Floyd "Buck" Savage, age 66, of Attica, passed away Sunday, September 18, 2011 at Lapeer Regional Medical Center. Floyd Junior Savage was the son of Floyd Alan and Pauline Savage born on March 14, 1945 in Gibbons Glade, Pennsylvania. He grew up in Western Pennsylvania. He attended Uniontown High School. Buck has lived in Lum since 1987. He married Linda Wood on February 27, 1965 in Gibbons Glade, PA. Buck retired from Steel Masters in Oxford. He had worked at ASE at 9 mile & Mound in Warren and for Simplex Corp. in Detroit. He was a former member of the Imlay City Eagles and he attended Attica United Methodist Church. He enjoyed watching the deer come into the yard, hunting and fishing. Buck is survived by his wife Linda Savage of Attica. son: Charles ( Carolyn ) Savage of Kill Devil Hills, NC. daughters: Sherri ( Jim ) Humbert of Markleysburg, PA, Kris ( Roger ) Steffens of Waldron, MI, and April Savage of North Branch. 6 grandchildren: Matthew Humbert, Joshua Humbert, Kaley Savage, Justin Savage, Hunter Savage, and Cody Hughes. brother: David ( Carol ) Savage of Lovells, MI. 6 sisters: Linda ( John ) Wood of Mt. Clemens, Marlen Matlick of Markleysburg, PA, Nancy ( Greg ) Garcia of Citrus Springs, FL, Cindy Compa of Citrus Springs, FL, Joanna Turney of Gulf Port, MS, and Ethel Kelley of Bruceton Mills, WV. Buck is preceded in death by his parents Floyd and Pauline Savage and brother Charles. Funeral service will take place 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 21, 2011 at Muir Brothers Funeral Home in Imlay City MI. Officiating will be Pastor Cliff Schroeder. Friends may call at the Muir Brothers Funeral Home, 225 Main Street, Imlay City, MI where the family will be available for visiting: 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 21, 2011.
